Printing on Saturday
I was so exited yesterday driving to the studio,
listening to Liquid Swords, anxious to start printing,
and looking at the beautiful mountains, and then Walmart happened.
I arrived to find the cleanest, non-toxic printmaking studio I
have ever seen. Here's my press in the foreground,
we got well acquainted.
Ink the roller.
Ink the block.
Print the block with the greatest, funniest helper of all
time, Señor Fig.
Ha!
Dry the print. This is Hugo, my latest print.
He's a big f*%@er. I will pick them up on Tuesday,
and hopefully get into a gallery next weekend.
I hope Santa Fe is receptive of my work.
It was a great day, exhausting and humbling,
inspiring and motivating. More to come soon.
