Parve the Cumpkin

"Hey, you wanna parve the cumpkin today?" – It was an honest mistake. Freudian slip? Regardless, I picked out a nice specimen for the project.
My favorite part is cutting out the lid. Then as we started removing the guts, my iphone took a dump and took a cool picture.
More gut removal, feels weird, good weird.
We kept the seeds and baked them with some salt, pepper and rosemary. Yum. The advertising made me thirsty, so I grabbed a Santa Fe Porter. Gotta make sure you really get in that pumpkin hole.
Two porters later, I began to draw the face of our glowing friend. I had an idea of what to draw earlier in the day, but then the only image I could think of was from Killer Klowns from Outer Space.
Queue Psycho shower scene music. The carving begins. Easier said than done, specially after 3 or 4 porters. Josie did an amazing job handling that knife.
Here's Einstein, doesn't look too scary in the day, but wait… Parving cumpkins Santa Fe style was fun. Brought me back to when my brother and I used to have the whole carving tool set and made a mess on the kitchen floor.
YEAH! Get some! Happy Halloween.
