Heres the final product. I remember how I felt when I took this picture, and it was very Clark Griswold-esque. Why turquoise? I live in Santa Fe and I'm all over it. When you are broke and can't afford to buy nice furniture, or even those really nice record shelves they have at IKEA, you take matters into your own hands. I felt determined a couple of Saturdays ago, went to LOWE's and had those dudes cut me some plywood to my exact specifications. Then I took them home and started to primer. It started to rain and I had to take my project indoors. I was told if I got any paint on the floor, carpet, or furniture I would "get my ass kicked." I was careful, and it sucked.
